It wasn’t a party… it was a happening

It’s 3AM.  I can’t sleep.  Too much racing through my head right now.  What just happened? We had hopes of raising about $300K in our annual gala tonight – money that gets used for preservation of the theatres and also to bring children to the theatre all year long.  When the dust settles, we will most likely have raised over $500K – the largest fundraiser – I think – in the theatre’s history.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thanks to everyone who attended – largest crowd ever – and to all of our auction bidders.  Trust me when I tell you that even Kris Kristofferson couldn’t believe that his autographed guitar sold for $25,000. By the way, he is a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
